New England Section, AUA By-Law Amendments The proposed changes to the New England Section, AUA By-Laws will be voted on by the NEAUA membership at the Section’s Annual Business Meeting, taking place during the 79th Annual Meeting at the Rhode Island Convention Center, Ballrooms D&E, 7:30 - 8:00 AM on Saturday, October 23rd. AUA Gallagher Health Policy Scholar Program The Gallagher Health Policy Scholar Program, launched in 2007, is designed to prepare the next generation of urologists to fill vital leadership roles in health policy. The program is available to AUA member urologists who have demonstrated a commitment to or have a keen interest in the field of health policy and who are dedicated to advancing urology's health policy agenda. Scholars selected for this program will spend up to 30 days away from their practice for intensive training on a wide range of health policy issues. Training includes mentoring from seasoned physician volunteers, participation in key meetings and conferences, and study of selected didactic articles. A stipend of $15,000 and reimbursement for travel and other expenses will be provided over the course of the year-long program. The AUA is now accepting applications for the 2011-2012 Program.
