Support the New England Section's Residents Bowl Team!

Designed to foster a spirit of competition and Section pride, this new AUA Annual Meeting event will match residents in an ultimate battle of the brains. The AUA National Residents Bowl will test residents’ knowledge in different urological subspecialties, the history of urology and important new research findings. Eight AUA Sections will send a team of residents—only one team will be champion. Visit the Science & Technology Hall Saturday-Monday afternoons to cheer on the New England Residents Bowl Team as they compete for the championship. On Wednesday, May 18, 2011 NEAUA President Dr. Timothy Hopkins joined over 150 urologists participating in an Afternoon on the Hill - an opportunity for AUA Annual Meeting attendees to take urology's message to Capitol Hill. During this event, participants met with 70 Senate offices, including 11 meetings directly with their Senator. Urologists advocated for AUA's bills, the PROSTATE Act and the Urotrauma bill, repeal of the sustainable growth rate (SGR) and the Independent Payment Advisory Board, and the preservation of the in-office ancillary services exception (IOAE) to the Stark laws.
