Calling All Candidates for Secretary-Elect of the AUA
The American Urological Association has announced its search for a candidate for the position of Secretary-Elect of the AUA. The individual who is nominated will be named Secretary-Elect of the AUA at the Annual Meeting in 2009, and after serving in that capacity for one year will succeed the current Secretary at the AUA Annual Meeting in 2010, for a four-year term ending in 2014. Because of the importance of the position of Secretary of the AUA, this year each Section is being asked to hold a formal selection process to bring forth a candidate. Thus, the New England Section is pleased to announce a call for candidates. Interested parties should pay close attention to the Job Description, and should also complete a copy of the Section’s Nominee Candidate Profile and return it to the New England Section. The AUA has opened the search up to the Sections and is seeking to identify a qualified and dedicated individual to fill this position, so if you are interested, please act now! All responses are due back to the Section by Monday, July 7, 2008.
